The Locker Room, NYC presents

Marie Anine Møller, Simon Ganshorn & Kristoffer Bech.

This exhibition brings together three artistic practices that examine how meaning is constructed, transmitted, and performed across time,

objects, and the self. Moving between painting, sculpture,

photography, and spatial gestures, the works unfold as sites where

memory, value, and identity are continually negotiated.

Marie Anine Moller turns to the charged presence of objects, dissecting

how value-symbolic, cultural, and commercial - is assigned and

contested. By working with material contradictions and opposing forces, her sculptures and photographs question fixed definitions of

worth and expose the complex systems that shape individual, societal, and environmental narratives.

Kristoffer Bech approaches identity as a performative condition, using the stage and the mask as central motifs. His work explores social roles and psychological mechanisms, where acts of self-staging unfold both consciously and unconsciously. The gesture of masking and unmasking becomes a symbolic threshold, raising questions about what is revealed when constructed personas fall away. Simon Ganshor's paintings operate as transmissions from a nonlinear temporality, drawing on embodied ancestral memory and recurring visions of knighthood. Through intuitive, layered mark-making, his works evoke ritual, repetition, and thepersistence of past narratives within the present, suggesting time as a looping structure rather than a linear progression.

Together, the exhibition frames art as a space of tension between inner and outer worlds, past and present, appearance and essence, we invite the viewer to reflect on how stories, values, and selves are continuously shaped, performed, and reimagined.
